The Tapsalteerie Chalice was donated by Linda Forret and Bill Close.

The trophy can be won by IWCOS Members and is given to the Wolfhound with the best showing record in a year. The trophy is held for a year and normally presented at the Club AGM.

The aim of the Trophy is to encourage members to show their dogs, particularly the less experienced, who might be more likely to attend open shows. It also aims to develop some cohesion around the club, and helps gives a point to being a member, encouraging members to take an active interest in club activities.

The winner is the hound with the most Points, points being allocated for a place in either Open or Championship shows. The entry form gives details of how the points are allocated.
