The Tapsalteerie trophy is awarded each year to the Irish Wolfhound (Dog or Bitch) having won the most points at a11 Open, Breed, Limited and Championship Shows between 1st Jan and 31st Dec.

All points are cumulative (i.e. Best in Show would give a total of 17 points, or 18 for a puppy. If more than one breed class is entered, only 1 class win is to count.)
As this trophy is to encourage new and less experienced club members, any hound having gained their Championship title are not eligible for this award. Points may be submitted at any time throughout the year, and may be sent by email, post or by telephone. Current placings (as per received entries) will be published in the newsletters.
